Set on 468 acres of waterfront land at Port Stephens, NSW, our property is a working farm with horse riding and farm activities for guests. We grow and eat our own organic produce when possible and we produce our own farm fresh free-range eggs.With over 250 acres of native bush, the property is full of wildlife, including heaps of kangaroos. We are right on the water at North Arm Cove and have a salt water river running right through the property which is full of fish and is great for water activities including, boating and canoeing. We also have a resort-style swimming pool with a bush diving tower!We offer 5 very basic bush-style cabins with beds only. These are located around our bonfire area which is the hub of activity at the camp. Nearby is the amenities block with unlimited hot water for showers and fully-flushing toilets. You can also pitch a tent on our land if you would prefer to sleep outside. If you have your own tent it's only $10pp each night, while we can happily provide you with a tent and two air mattresses for only $20pp per night.Our camp has a different vibe depending on the season - if you are thinking of coming at a busy time and are looking for a quiet getaway then the cabins are probably not for you. On the other hand, if you like to be amongst the action and like a bit of a party then it's the best place to stay. Bulga Creek Bush Camp is the real Australian bush experience, with our own small rainforest nearby. Between the nearby surfing, fishing and whale and dolphin watching, we have something for everyone!This is truly a great place for a stopover on your way up the coast. The bus stops near here in Karuah or the Rock Roadhouse, and all buses heading up north to Queensland and south to Sydney go right past our gate.We offer free drop-off and pick-up to these bus stops - just let us know when you will arrive so we can be there!

Our crew will do everything to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer loads of activities and a personal touch to your Sydney experience, including BBQ nights, pub crawls and guided walks. Owned and operated by four former backpacker tour guides, you'll know you're getting the best out of the city!Reception hours are 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to accommodate 24-hour check-in; just let us know your arrival time beforehand!We have 6-, 8- and 12-bed dorm, all including bed linen. Each dorm features air-conditioning, luggage lock-up(free of charge - just bring your own padlock), plus a fridge. Most have en suite bathrooms. Our female-only dorms with en suite bathrooms provide an extra bit of privacy.Our large common room is well-equipped for your comfort. Dougies is run by a bunch of us who had lots of fun backpacking around places of the world before, so we decided to start a hostel ourselves. We have the pretty relaxed atmosphere, without all of the formal procedures that some hostels have. Our philosophy is 'kick back and relax at Dougies'.We have all of the facilities that a fun loving backpacker could ever need, including a bar, refreshing swimming pool, free bbq facilities, shop (coke, ice-creams, chockies etc), a huge self-cook kitchen, laundry, internet, satellite t.v (really big one), hire bikes, fishing rods, tour desk and of course accommodation (doubles, twins, share rooms, camping, van sites and our own stylish canvas tents).But once you see our tropical gardens and cruisy front lawn you might just want to lay back and relax under a palm tree, kick back in a hammock, by the pool or you may even like to unwind on the grass and soak up some of the Far North's warm tropical sunlight.

Gagaju is on a stretch of the Noosa river tucked away in semi wild bush between Lakes Cooroibah and Cootharaba.We are a 100% Recycled BUSHCAMP with RUSTIC Bush Style Dorms and bunks.We offer a free pick-up/drop-off from Noosa 2 times a day. 10am and 4.20pm Bus leaves for Gagaju.We have Fire Sticks / Poi's, Didgeridoos, TV/DVD Lounge Hammocks, 1/2 - 3 day canoe adventures on the Everglades. On Sundays you can canoe to Boreen Point for pig on the spit.
